not coming to Australia but a nice car. 27kwh battery and 6.6kW charger and the best website for sale of an EV I've seen yet www.kia.com/us/en/vehicle/soul-ev/2015/experience?story=hello with the car they have also released 100kW CHAdeMO fast chargers which because it's not linear only saves you 5 mins 100kW 25 mins to 80% 50kW 30 mins to 80% 25kW 40 mins to 80% their info graphic is pretty good.

Looks great! Funny they are the only ones with an environmental validation. Makes me wonder if it's new or if they are the only ones who applied for it. ;-)
Be interested to see what it eventually costs.

back online now ooh charging etiquette jolly good if you please www.kia.com/us/en/content/ev-faqs/charging/charging-etiquettein perth the WA EV trial noted that owners were using the charge spot as a free parking spot & not moving their cars once charged. the catch is that the Elektrobay bollards were not set to SMS owners so owners wouldn't know when their vehicles were charged like the chargepoint australia bollards and used to be green lots (green lots no longer make charge stations) hopefully one day the elektrobay bollards will have local SMS notifications. The SMS function was turned off cos SMSes were being sent from the UK.

Good to see another car company coming out with and EV. The more the better, so everyone starts to take them seriously...
The Kia looks less aerodynamic and appears bigger. Slightly larger battery, I wonder if it will have a lower range then the Leaf?
