Just starting up a new thread in preparation for our next meet. Can I get a show of hands who's up for one in July and is anyone unavailable in July?
David previously suggested somewhere out at Centennial Park which sounds nice and should have enough parking space. I think the meet should end in Strathfield so we can have coffee there and take turns with the quickcharger. The only problem is the potential traffic going from one place to the other.
I also think a convoy across the Harbour Bridge would be cool but don't know if that's practical.
Anyone else got ideas?

I'm good in July. Centennial Patk sounds perfect.
I think the Straithfield charger might be a bit clumsy if there are more than 4 or so, but I'd be game if it was the plan.

Time flies, it's July already. Can I get a show of hands if I propose late this month, either Saturday 25th 26th or Sunday 26th 27th?
Still open to suggestions, otherwise Centennial Park/somewhere else after is still the current plan.

Thanks Jim, I can't calendar. Wondering if we made it further north, could we convince Phoebe or Gabz to come down even if it's not in their EVs.

Last time we were all able to charge in the Westfield car park if your worried about getting back. I don't think you guys were able to make it that far south last time, and that was why we went to the caravan park. Is that right?

Not without extreme range anxiety, so I wouldn't do it, sorry.

well you picked the caravan park because of phoebe I came along because you picked the caravan park, and was told about you by my inlaws. by the time we get to the carvan park we are 25% SOC. after I think 85km. I am thinking about coming to the next one if it's the 26th can't do 27th have to take the kids to a birthday party.
but it will require some planing as i'll get as far as sun valley then charge then probably hornsby then the QC stratfield then centennial park.

You are braver than I am, Gab! I reckon that would take quite a lot of driving in the dark, at one end or the other (or both), at this time of year! I charged for 4 hours at the caravan park and to do that again on the way back, would make a very long day. Then if you charge at Hornsby and Strathfield as well, both ways? ?? Good luck!

I have the option of staying overnight as sun valley, so that makes a difference.

Just an idea: Depending on which date has the most people attending, if it's on the 26th, should we make it lunch in North Strathfield to make it easier for Gabz to show up? Then those who feel like driving somewhere after can head north and have coffee in Westfield Hornsby while Gabz plugs in somewhere in the area to top up for the trip home (a few options there). It's just an idea, happy to stick with the original plan if people prefer.

Happy to meet wherever suits all but would be unable to meet on the 26th as I work every Saturday so we would only be able to make it on a Sunday

No worries, it was only an idea, see what the others say, it could still be on Sunday.
Jim, are you still using the QC during the week? Maybe we can have another quick meet up like last time.

Hey Feng, not going this week but probably doing the QC next week. I like your Strathfield idea as well if that works better for the meet up, I'm easy.

I can make Sunday 27th and as I suggested Centennial park, that would still be my preferred option, however similar distance for me to get to Strathfield area. ?Bicentenial park. Spending the day with planetark at the Randwick site for tree day in our fossil fuelless cars would be cool though

11am is good for me. So it's just the four of us so far? Six if you include Duncan and Mike. Should I post on the LEAF Facebook page and try to get more interest from there? I'm going to bring Ayla along.

I just had a look at event and it's says we are meeting at 11 pm, going to be dak and cold at that time of night :-) We'll sneak in in the dark of night, headlights and VSP off. The park rangers will have no idea what hit them.
