I have asked Nissan two questions -
1. What is the equation that is used for the Carwings ratings ?
2. There apppear to be eight LEAFs registered on Carwings in Australia. Yet our ' Regional Ratings ' varies around 17. What other countries are included in our ' Region ' ? I might expect New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, etc, but none of these appear when you search countries.
I have been advised that my questions have been forwarded, but no answers are yet forthcoming.

I look almost every day for the Aussie flag to appear on the "top 20". One day soon...

Ok, I have recently been on to Nissan HQ, and spoken with Luke there. Carwings is officially down, as per prediction, and, is/has being changed over to the 3G system.
Luke was extremely helpful on this, and numerous other matters I discussed with him. Thank you Luke if you read this. This guy needs recognition by Nissan for his customer orientated service, and his knowledge.
Carwings is down, but will be up and running as soon as all the testing etc has been done, and then one can use it as prior.
Telstra's changes affected Nissans customer base. Yes, they were aware, but then again, it's Telstra!. Timescale. The data this platform uses is obviously very sensitive when one considers it. So, there is quite conceivably a great deal of work & testing to continue doing. It may take a while, and without nailing it to a date, more than likely next year. Consider the holiday period is also in the equation too.
Personally I get the feeling carwings has been worked on way before now, indicated by the user ID's one may have noticed on Carwings, and the extended conversation both Luke & I had.
Yes, a valuable part of the car has ceased to function as of now, but it's not insurmountable.
Patience is the key I believe. Owners should be notified as it becomes available once more.
Now the email we are to be notified by may! need checking. Our email address was in IT confusion, however if no one notifies Luke/Nissan, there may be a chance you may not receive updates.
I called them on 1800 035 035, opt 2.
Great help from my side from Luke. I have an update, and confirmation things are still happening to get Carwings back to the owners. Now bear in mind that without Carwings, the "TCU" it uses is a waste of time. Carwings first, then a free replacement via Nissan Authorised LEAF dealership.
