This has probably been asked, but here goes, if say your battery was very low, how about another vehicle towing you dow the road, a quiet country empty road of course, at around 60km/h in ECO, foot off pedal. Looking at mine that would put 25-30kw back into the battery, ergo 30-45 mins to put a good charge back in..
Thoughts??

The manual states that you shouldn't tow it with four wheels on the ground but that didn't stop these guys in The Netherlands from testing it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Sujv90PLLY. So yes it can be done, I wouldn't risk it though! Better to find a powerpoint in a shopping mall or car park and charge it from there instead.

Ain't no shopping centres or car parks on quiet country roads, Feng

Yep, it's probably better to get the friendly locals to lend you a power point (assuming you have a 10 amp plug adaptor) rather than tow you down the road ;D As for the e-jerry - afraid that's all too complicated for me

In Western Australia, we would call the R.A.C., who would turn up with their trailer containing a beefy generator and 15 Amp socket.

Don't think our mob have one. They have a quick charger at their Strathfield depot but that's no use if you can't get to Strathfield

What about Nissan roadside assist? I think Jayson once said they can provide some charge to get you to the nearest charge point. Be interesting to see how good the service is!

Maybe by 'charge' he meant a flat bed truck to the nearest Nissan Dealer with a Chargepoint or your home, which ever is closer. That's what Nissan Roadside Assist will do for you. But I'm sure any of us here are yet to need such a service.

A six pack of beer (maybe some urea and water depending how hot it is) and an extension lead may be the answer in the country.
