Have just booked my car in for 20K service at Steve Jarvin (not where I bought it) Will be done this coming Wednesday, but so far over the phone it is very encouraging. The seemed to be comfortable with the Leaf Time will tell, but from previous posts I think it should be a good experience. I was not offered a loan car, but have booked one for $40, which I think is fairly standard

So basically inspecting a bunch of stuff that has an extremely low chance of finding a problem, and replacing the air conditioning filter. Hmmm, doesn't really seem like $230-$250 of value in there but I guess keeping the warranty active is worth it.

How much more extensive than the 10k service is this? All I dot from that service was my battery report... And remember the first service is $85ish...

My guess it's kind of "one for you one for us" rotation on price where it doesn't represent what they actually do.

Had my leaf 20K service 2 days ago at Steve Jarvin. Great experience all round. the cost surprised me (pleasantly) at $187 including GST. I did have a few other things done as well for an extra charge (eg rotate tyres). Perfect battery still, so that was good You wouldn't believe it though, I took a loan car, some old fashioned FFB. You actually have to stop at this thing called a petrol station and put this horrible foul smelling dangerous liquid into it called petrol. Why do people still do that!!!!

According to my maintenance guide (see attachment) rotating the tyres should happen every service, not as an extra No idea why some people still have cars you have to stop and put petrol in

Hi guys, back again after a long absence. Last I heard Jyson is no longer with Steve Jarvin and has disappeared, will be sorely missed! However Joe the service manager is extremely knowledgeable.

Hi Mike, welcome back! I know Jayson left for a while and came back a few months ago. Are you saying he left again or could this be the same absence?

Yes gone completely as far as I know. I had a unique issue with my GPS not tracking the satellites and had to leave the LEAF for 2 weeks! They were all scratching their heads and even Japan hadn't seen this issue. It turned out to be a wiring loom issue (bad plug/contact connection)which was quickly rectified. Joe had taken care of everything and no one was talking about Jayson so not sure on what terms he left???
