Last week I fiitted new tyres to my 2015 Leaf with 33,000 km on the clock. Immediately range increased by between 5 and 10% depending on driving conditions. Also I now never charge to 100% unless absolutely necessary. I only need about 50% battery to get to and from work so I just top it up to 80% each night. I think it is maintaining the life of my battery. So far as there has been no change in range since I bought the car in April (except for the tyre boost).

Nice. I've only heard of and experienced new tyres reducing range until they wear in. What brand tyres did you get? I wonder if they're a better design compared to the originals. Do you know what pressures you were running before and after?

Tyre Pressure was pretty much unchanged. I think it is currently 36 psi

You'd be wanting the fuel economic ones. They have low rolling resistance.

What did the car have on before the change? I have the EP300 on at the moment and they do ok, grip in the wet is not as good but the trade off is there to provide better rolling resistance.
Tyre pressure wise, I am running 38ish PSI. At 40PSI the ride is noticeably harsher and the contact patch is smaller which I’d rather not have due to braking performance degradation in emergencies.
I think the factory tyres are Ecopia EP150 which were quite good for range also.

On an 80% charge I used to get 90 km. At the moment I can get up to 100 km. These tyres provide a smooth run as well. I highly recommend them. I am happy with 36 psi.
